Exclusive Jolly LLB Mp3 Song Previews- What About ‘Em? My Viewpoint

Find the exclusive lineup of all JOLLY LLB SONG mp3 previews below and small viewpoint of mine here. Well i know, many of you expect me to repeat the flavour or melodies as was in Tanu Weds Manu, but I must say every film is different and set against different milieu. And if i need to remain true to the heart of a film and its corresponding lyrics, you will see me adapt everytime. When i met Subhashji, the director of Jolly LLB, he did mention this album not to be an out and out musical one, because as you know by now, its primarily a hot and sweet, satirical yet intense story of two lawyers. But he still had the idea of a song to be woven with popular punjabi phrase “ki main jhooth boliya” meaning a take on the law and order in the country, which was meant to be the only promotional number. But as and when we progressed to later stages, we did make music out of it all, supported by his own inimitable style of writing. I would say, if Jolly llb songs leave you with a smile (even a confused one), guess we are in the groove of things. I tried to keep melody at the core of songs, no matter what, even in the situational qawwali in Kailash’s voice, or the situational loosers anthem, Law lag gaye in Bappi lahiri’s vocals.

Even in case of Arshad wooing his beautiful lady Amrita Rao with “Ajnabi” in a school surrounding, at a time in the film when he has already established himself as a good for nothing someone, he does it in his own funny way, as is his portrayal in the movie. I mean when did we hear before, “Kaash tere pappa koi truck se jaa takraye, haddi vaddi toote aur plaster lag jaye” in a pure love song. Mostly all the lyrics definitely do not ooze poetry in any classical sense, (or should we call it modernistic expressionism), but i never judge poetry out of context in a film. So when Subhashji decided to write the situational songs himself, i exactly knew what was to come of it. And im always game for anything done with conviction. I knew it could turn out a little entertaining than being classy numbers, as are the expectations. If you didn’t know, he wrote the story as well, so he was well aware how his characters could sing and dance if they have to, without spoiling their association within the film. I personally like musical challenges and i never go with a pre-conceived notion or even a particular style in my kitty, i composed TWM when i was heavily into Rock n Blues, I composed Jolly LLB when i was churning out RnB numbers (to release soon). And its just the first step of mine into bollywood. Im sure i will deliver different genre of popular music for every ear soon without any inhibitions whatsoever. And I think Subhashji’s risk with unconventional lyrics will get its due in the long run. I thought, they are different and unique if not masterpieces. As for music, you are the better judge if I did justice with my melodies. Yes i compose on lyrics, so i get guided by the flavour of it and I believe thats the best way to work songs for feature films. I hope you find more relevance to them all when you watch the movie. For those who have a thumbs up raised, and are patient to hear more melodies from me, lots of good news to follow (like for one, you will hear me singing a few numbers too). Thanks and just keep sending me smiles for fuel. :)

I am really thankful to my entire team, Subhashji, and the great singers, Shreya, Mika, Mohit, Bappida, Kamal and Kailash for lending their vocals.
